Laserarm:
The implemented techniques require that any arbitrary state of polarization can be generated. The laser arm contains the necessary components to do this in a well defined manner. The laser arm is made of a single bracket made of solid aluminum alloy with a low thermal expansion coefficient. This guarantees a long term mechanical stability of the setup. |

- Laser in its holder
- first quarter waveplate
- lens holder
- polarizer mounted in rotary stage
- shutter
- second quarter waveplate in mechanically driven rotary stage
- The holders are equipped with additional drillings. The spacing matches the optical system of established optical microbenches (e.g. Linus, GmbH) and hence further optical elements can be inserted.
