Control Software OWISoft OWISoft
The software tool OWISoft allows the configuration and operation of several OWIS control units of the type PS 90 (V 2.4 and higher), PS 30 (V 2.4 and higher), DC 500 (V 2.5 and higher), SMS 60 (V 2.4 and higher). The settings can be stored. All linear and rotative OWIS positioning units are stored in the program database. They can be called, modified and then operated by the control unit.
The program can execute and asynchronously approach up to 12 axes. The joystick modus is supported. The PS 90 and the PS 30 can furthermore operate in- and outputs.

• Technical Requirements: OWISoft can be installed on a commercially available PC.
• Hardware Configuration: At least a Pentium 233 MHz (or compatible) with 64 MB RAM and 45 MB fixed-disk storage is to be used.
• Interfaces: The PS 90 via USB or RS 232, the PS 30 has a virtaully serial interface (all drivers are available). The DC 500 and the SMS 60 can be connected over a RS 232 or a GPIB interface (only with drivers made by National Instruments NI-GPIB).
• Software: OWISoft is written for Windows operating systems and operates under Win 95/II, Win 98, WinME, WinNT4.0, Win2000 and WinXP. A SDK for C, C++ and LabView are available. We suggest a screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels, with 24-bit colour depth.
